What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help us provide you with a better experience by remembering your preferences and understanding how you use our site.
Cookies We Use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| zyphr-consent (localStorage) | Essential | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics and advertising cookies, so we do not ask again | Until you clear site data |
| zyphr-do-not-sell (localStorage) | Essential | Records a Do-Not-Sell/Share opt-out made from the Do Not Sell page | Until you clear site data |
| _gcl_* | Advertising | Google Ads — measures whether an ad led to a signup or subscription. Set only after you accept. | Up to 90 days |
Cookieless Analytics
We measure website traffic with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service that sets no cookies and stores no persistent identifiers — which is why it appears in neither the table above nor the consent banner: there is nothing on your device to consent to. It reports aggregate page counts, not individual behaviour. We still do not load it at all if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, if you have opted out on the Do Not Sell page, or if you rejected non-essential cookies in the banner. Details are in our Privacy Policy under Website Analytics.
Your Choice, and How to Change It
Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you accept them. We ask once, with a banner, and nothing in those categories runs before you choose. Only the cookies needed to operate the site and remember your choice are set beforehand.
To change your mind, use the button below. This clears your recorded choice and shows the banner again on your next page load.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honour it automatically and never show the banner — analytics and advertising stay off regardless of any earlier choice.
Managing Cookies
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of our site.
For more information about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
